Shipping costs
Shipping costs depend on parcel size and destination country and are shown before you order. Above a threshold amount we ship for free; the threshold is shown at checkout.
Delivery time
Building kits in stock ship within the time stated on the product page. Made-to-measure products and cutting work are made after payment; the delivery time is on the product page or in the quote. Building plans are delivered immediately after payment.
Large parts
Our laser cuts parts up to 2180 × 590 mm. Parts longer than 1.75 m or parcels heavier than 30 kg do not fit a parcel service. Such orders:
- can be collected free of charge from our workshop in Edam (we let you know when they are ready), or
- are delivered by courier by arrangement; we send you a price first, and only once you accept it is the courier part of your order.
Designs longer than 1.2 m are cut in sections with splice plates where possible, so they can travel as a parcel after all.
Collection in Edam
Collection is free. Choose "collect" at checkout; you receive an e-mail when your order is ready, with the address: Hamerstraat 3D, 1135 GA Edam, the Netherlands. Make an appointment via info@bouwkit.com. The risk passes to you when you take the order with you.
Damage
Check the parcel on receipt. If it is damaged, photograph the box and the contents and e-mail them as soon as possible, preferably within 2 working days, to info@bouwkit.com. We send missing or damaged parts free of charge. Your statutory rights still apply after that.
